I think this video does have a good point. Administrators and educators are so affraid of using technology and that is actually hurting the students.

I understand how administrators and teachers are affraid that they will use the web wrong or access someplace they shoudn't be, but don't you think that happens at home anyways? The children should not be that sheltered. They should be able to use the tools of technology!

I did not care for the sound track, but this video raises a good point. Why are educators so scared of technology?

It is amazing how many teachers are afraid that it will take too much time, be too much work, etc. And administrators are afraid that students will access someplace they shouldn't, leaving the schools vulnerable to lawsuits...

It is time to get real, folks.
