I was really blown away by United Streaming. However, I tried to sign up for the free trial a long time ago but there seems to have been a glitch somewhere and I never received my activation email, hopefully this doesn't happen a lot. I really liked how you can research by subject and grade level. This makes searching much easier. I can really see myself using this in my classroom in the future. Videos are a great way to reach students and help them learn.

I am sure I will use United Streaming to watch videos frequently. I really like the option of being able to download the clips to your computer or viewing them from the web. I will probably download several when I find some that I like! I think the lesson plan ideas they provide will be very useful too. Sometimes when it comes to planning you just get in a rut and have a hard time creating interesting lessons. With resources like United Streaming that problem is alleviated. I noticed the calendar tool also. Many other resources and tools we have explored this semester have had the calendar functions that I didn't look at too closely, but I am quite positive that they will be very very useful to me in the future. Teachers have a lot to keep straight-they can't do it on their own!

Seems like the general consensus n this forum iis that it should be free to schools and students. I AGREE!!

United Streaming is a wonderful website. At first I did not think it would have many videos that go along with my field, but I was pleasently surprized. I first watched a video for younger kids that gave animal examples that went along with the alphabet. I can see how watching these animals could help them understand the alphbet. It was great because it wasn't some silly cartoon that got annoying, but real life animals that were very interesting. The second video I watched was about the history of fiction. It was quite interesting for the nature of the topic. I will definatly use this in my classes.
