Saturday, July 21-3pm. Have spent the better part of the day grading in Moodle, reading comments here and checking out your Blogs.
I am so impressed with what I am seeing and reading. Lots of exciting technology growth and opening of minds this summer. Make sure you take time and check out your classmates blogs. Vicki Schmidt, Fred Griffith as well as the
Teachers from the Trenches They "get it" and I suspect will continue to to blog long after this class ends.
Several of you mentioned they wished they had taken this class during a normal semester rather than the
wham bam thank you mam approach this summer. I have to say I agree as well. There is so much packed into seven weeks, sometimes it is tough to remember and keep track of, even for me. But you all have your social bookmarking sites that I hope you have added to, and this classroom 2.0 site and of course your blog.
Good luck to all of you and keep in touch, you know where to find me if you ever need help. I will continue grading and reading the next few days as assignments come in, but I just felt the need to comment on our progress

Wow, summer session is nearly over and I hope all of you have learned at least one thing you can use in your own classroom or in your future education classes here at FHSU. I know I have learned many, many things from the discussions, links and resources shared by everyone.
I want to thank the
Teachers from the Trenches for participating in our class this summer. It has added so much. I am looking forward to doing this with a different class I teach in the fall.
TECS 290 students: I am looking forward to reading your final project blogs and looking at all the things you have added to your Social Bookmarking sites. I have really enjoyed reading your article and Podcast reflections in Moodle as well as your comments in this Classroom 2.0 site.
I Hope the rest of your summer is relaxing and again a huge
THANK YOU Teachers from the Trenches for enriching our class!!

I am back for NECC in Atlanta and all I can say is WoW!! Wish there was time in this class to share everything I learned. But you can listen to most of the session from NECC through iTunes-NECC2007 or from the website
www.iste.org.

NATIONAL EDUCATION COMPUTING CONFERENCE (NECC)
www.iste.org/necc
I will be at the NECC conference this week in Atlanta with 15,000 other educators interested in technology and using it in their classrooms. NECC is the best technology conference for educators in the world. You should try to attend someday!! Make sure you check it out and I will be send you discoveries, resources and links and who know what from the conference this week. It is also quite likely that many of the educators you have been reading about, reading their blogs and listening to their Podcast will respond to our topics on our class site. Kevin Honeycutt is there a day early for the bloggers day and he is "pimping" our site for us. I wish I had gone today so I could have participated in the bloggers day. But oh well, will be there by tomorrow afternoon.
Warning: I suspect I will be a little slow at answering email questions and grading while at the conference!!! Your understanding is appreciated.
By the way, I am adding all the links folks post in their discussion to my portorportal. Portportal is a Social Bookmarking site kinda like del.icio.us, but I like the way you can organize it. I also use del.icio.us, but like the organization of porportal.
